My 16-year-old son has been seeing a podiatrist ever year since he was 2. While we liked his previous podiatrist, it became harder to get appointments and required travelling across town. After reading the 5-star reviews for Sports and Family Podiatry, we decided to give them a try.Caitlin was fantastic. She was friendly, engaging, very thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. She is currently fitting my son with personalised orthotics using the latest technology. The turnaround time is a huge bonus. We got an appointment within a week, and the orthotics will be ready in just one week, compared to the long wait times we were used to.Carolyn at reception was also very friendly and welcoming. We’re really happy with the experience so far and would highly recommend Sports and Family Podiatry.

Sports and Family Podiatry are both professional and personal. Their web page info and data collection was easy to fill out and was comprehensive. So on arrival for the first appointment there was no clip board to bother with. The podiatrist I saw - Caitlin Spencer is simply the best practitioner Ive ever had and that’s important when you suffer from ingrown nails.

Receptionist was very efficient and friendly. Caitlin looked after my needs. Extremely thorough, knowledgeable, gentle. Asked pertinent questions and gave me a few not previously known pointers. The precinct adjoining the Clem Jones Centre at Carina is obviously growing its profile in the “health and wellness” space with a growing list of health professionals setting up. Good parking available as well. Would definitely go back and highly recommend Sports and Family Podiatry at Carina.

Sports & Family Podiatry is located in the Clem Jones Wellness Precinct in Carina, conveniently close if you’re looking for a podiatrist in Carindale, or podiatrist in Camp Hill. We can assess and treat all adult and childhood foot and lower limb conditions.

Foot and leg issues are frustrating. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of our patients by enabling them to remain pain-free and active within their chosen sporting and fitness pursuits through exceptional foot and lower limb care.

I highly recommend Caitlin. I saw her after suffering knee pain for an extended period of time, and had become very severe over the last 12 months. I had had X-rays and physio with no improvement. I had a very thorough examination with Caitlin several months ago. She diagnosed an issue with my feet. Orthotics and exercises have now almost eliminated the pain, and it continues to improve. Some days now are completely pain free. Caitlin is very knowledgeable and was confident in her assessment and diagnosis. I did not realise that feet could affect the rest of your body so much. I am extremely happy with the outcome.

I saw Dr Sweeting for an initial consultation a couple of weeks ago after experiencing heel pain. I attended the clinic after reading all of the positive reviews. I was very impressed with Ben's level of knowledge, professionalism and approachability. Ben was spot on with his initial diagnosis (confirmed by subsequent ultrasound). I have also appreciated being able to contact him outside of consultation times to confirm treatment / exercises, plus how he sends an email post consultation to confirm what was discussed. Ben has also been welcoming of having my young children attend the clinic. I have already recommended the clinic to friends. The clinic itself is also very nice!

Fabulous podiatrist who has always gone above and beyond to assist with my many foot issues. Often fits me in when there is an urgent issues even when he has not time and it’s outside hours. Ben’s knowledge of foot issues is extensive and he always try’s to find ways to keep me moving and offer a range of options. I came to Sports & Family Podiatry due to shin pain when running. After diagnosing a dreaded bone stress reaction and evaluating my running form, Ben developed an active recovery plan for me. His approach allowed me to maintain (some) running, accompanied by custom orthotics, cross-training, stretching, and strength work. Ben discussed and adjusted the plan at every consult based on my progress, and I now feel stronger in my running and confident this injury won't reoccur. Thanks Ben!

I have severe inflammatory issues and psoriatic arthritis which affect both my feet and achilles tendons bilaterally. I've been seeing Ben for just over a year and he has helped tremendously. My pain levels have decreased enough for me to lead a fairly normal life now. I'd recommend Ben - he's not only (obviously) extremely knowledgeable, but he's also very compassionate and caring. I've never felt rushed and he's listened to me complain about more than just my feet!
